Hotel Nagyerdő

It was clean, and the staff was friendly. The location was excellent for my purposes.

The food was hideous (overcooked and very limited selection), for the kind of money they charged for dinner, one could have had a decent meal in a restaurant. Breakfast was better, but not much. I couldn’t get cold or even warm water out of the tap, it was always burning hot, whatever I did. The shower was also ugly, and it had spontaneous temperature fluctuations.

Staff is perfect, flexible for special demands (expand staying after invoice closure). Restaurant is also good, prices in bar are solid.

Oldschool rooms and furniture, but it was fine for rest. The water service (warm water for shower) was so hectic.

The breakfast was excellent. For locals, or foreigners who visit locals, the hotel is simply practical. However, the lack of air conditioning or a fridge in the room for it's rate is quite disappointing. Other than that, it's location is rather perfect. It is close to one of the main trams, also close to a couple of bars and restaurants, a park, the stadium, gym, fountain and a mini-water resort. Compared to it's counterparts, a lot of work needs to be done for it to meet an international standard. Practical room, soft pillows, no fridge, come with your own drinking water! Nice breakfast, but needs better management and organization as my father who visited, had to figure out if he had to pay for breakfast or not! Other guests just ate and seemed to know what to do, he had to talk to the receptionist who some how calculated food he ate, without seeing it. On his check-in, I had to prompt the receptionist to inform us how to get to his room, what time breakfast was, if it was part of the room rates, etc. So weird.

A fridge! Portable air-conditioning for summer periods! Staff that speak better English! Staff that know what their jobs entail.

Just the kind attitude of the staff. The location is perfect, in the middle of the Nagyerdő park. That's all!

The building is in shambles, it would not be permitted to open as a hotel.

Staff is nice, friendly, and helpful. Didn't have breakfast, but their coffee was great.

The hotel is a leftover from the socialist era and has seen little redecoration or repair ever since. The room and bathroom are clean, but fairly dilapidated, showing signs of quick & dirty repair. However, for the money it would have been good value but for the noise. You can hear the plumbing whenever someone uses the bathroom in another room nearby, and the doors don't close well or provide any kind of soundproofing, so you hear what is going on in the hallway. Same applies to the walls, you can hear conversation in adjacent rooms.

The Staff's attitude is rather poor

The very good position and potential of the hotel is great, the rooms are big enough, the bathrooms are also, but unfortunately the bad management is seen from all aspects of the hotel and this makes the stay to them very unpleasant. Where are you Anthony Melchiorri (Hotel Impossible) to see this :)! Lucky us that we had a lot of things to do in the area and we had to stay just at night at the hotel!

Poor cleaning, carpet with big spots everywhere, massive infestation with stink bugs, unclean terraces, the yard left in the dirt, dirty walls etc. I understand that there may be an infestation with those bugs in the whole area, but in the three days I stayed in Debrecen I met here and there a few bugs, but here was disaster. In the room I killed at least 15 pieces, there were other tens both live and dead in the hall, even in the little elevator we found some. In such a catastrophic infestation, I wonder how the public health department does not interfeer. It was one of the hotels that made me one of the biggest misfortunes because this hotel has an enormous potential as location and facilities but everywhere there is a lack of interest of management and employees. It is located great, has an optimal surface and a generous lot of land but a total lack of interest and good intentions. I will not detail that we have been charged more than we booked but this thing will be disputed through booking.com, anyway if the conditions would be ok I would not be concerned about this aspect.

Old hotel. Very bad price/quality ratio. Smelly rooms.

The location is perfect for families. Walking distance to aqua park, zoo, sports facilities, the large park with many attractions. Good communications to city centre by tram. Nice and quiet surroundings. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel had a lower standard than expected. Breakfast is OK but no more than that. Dinner buffé is not worth the money.

В Дебрецене у нас была пересадка из Парижа, 1 ночь. Идея была поспать, искупаться в терме и быстренько на самолёт. Для этой идеи отель соответствует идеально, так как имеет собственную терму, пользование которой включено в стоимость номера, к ней ещё выдают тёплый банный халат. А главный термальный комплекс города находится в паре минут ходьбы от отеля.

Прилетели мы в 00:00 ночи. С дороги очень голодные. Но в это время во всём отеле не оказалось не то что еды, а даже воды! Хотя бы вендингового автомата с едой и водой, но нет. Магазинов в округе нет. Вообще круглосуточный магазин в городе один и он находится рядом с аэропортом, то есть совсем не рядом с отелем)) Благо минутах в 7 ходьбы от отеля находится одна из достопримечательностей города "водонапорная башня", в ней молодёжный бар с алкогольными напитками. Еды там тоже не оказалось, ну кроме пива и водки, но хотя бы купили воды, чая и какую-то местную булку. В общем, ночь как-то продержались :). На букинге указано, что тут говорят по-русски. Русскоязычного ресепшена на наш день заезда не оказалось. Видимо он там не каждый день. В целом отель милый, но такой по первому впечатлению: кому за 50+ будет хорошо.

Отличное расположение отеля. Находится в начале территории огромного парка и в пяти минутах от трамвайной остановки. До центра 5 остановок или 20 минут пешком. В отеле есть термальный бассейн, сауна с выход во внутренний двор. В номере чисто, но весь номерной фонд требует ремонта. Завтраки не плохие, хотя сначала ассортимент был богаче, молочные продукты, нарезка и традиционный омлет, кашу дали только один раз. Рядом магазин продукты, но работает до 19-30. От автовокзала можно доехать за 370 фор !!! до Хадуйсобосло, прекрасный термальный курорт в 30 минутах езды. Посетите музей Дери, рекомендую

Ремонт надо бы, но цена точно взлетит. На русском говорит только один сотрудник ресепшии, спасибо ему , очень помог, За ужином напитки за отдельную плату

Отличное расположение, завтрак очень хороший, стоит брать, ужин не брали. Сауна и бассейн с термальной водой прямо в отеле. Для спокойного отдыха - самое главное!!!

Немного обшарпано, напоминает пансионат советских времён. Даже, чтобы смыть унитаз, надо дергать за верёвочку, давно такого не видели)

Очень скромные номера. Главный плюс термальный бассейн в отеле. Завтраки и ужины нормальные- главное придти в начале)

Собственный термальный бассейн, работающий с 7 утра до 21 вечера (бассейн 36 градусов, сауна и купальня на 22 градуса к ней). До большого термального комплекса от отеля 5 минут пешком. Сумму за проживание заранее не списывали, даже кредитную карту не просили при заселении, и услуги во время проживания (дополнительные завтраки, аренда халатов) оплачивались уже при выезде. WiFi в номере хороший.

Уборку номера не делали. Только мусор выносили. Полотенца не меняли, кажется, в ванную комнату при уборке вообще не заходили. Кровать и матрасы такие старые, что очень сильно скрипят при любом движении. Сейф отсутствует.

Немного обшарпанные номера, отель давно требует ремонта, пыльные стеклавообщем, проживанием остались довольны
